What skills and experience we're looking for

New Horizons Primary School is seeking to appoint an organised and proactive Administration Officer to join our welcoming school office.

As an Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality support across the school with a focus on SEN administration, parent communication, and oversight of medical provisions and arrangements within the school.

This role is key in helping the school day run smoothly, with clear communication and support provided to pupils, their parents/carers and your colleagues.Key responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for visitors, parents and staff
  • Support SEN admin processes and complete related paperwork
  • Maintain pupil records, databases and office systems
  • Help manage parent enquiries with professionalism and care
  • Work closely with colleagues to support school objectives

About You:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT and organisational abilities
  • A calm, efficient and professional approach to multi-tasking in a busy environment
  • Experience of working in a school environment (desirable but not essential)
  • A team player with a genuine commitment to supporting children's education
