Vacancy for an Administrative Assistant & Careers Co Administrator

Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 3 & Grade 5

Hours: Admin Assistant on Reception (14 hours) & Careers Co Admin (5 hours):

  • Monday 8.00am-4.00pm & Friday 8.30am-3.30pm on Reception and 9.00am-2.00pm either Tuesdays or Thursdays with Careers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to be part of our vibrant and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and committed Administration Assistant to work in the main Reception of the school and contribute to our success.

Alongside this role we are seeking an organised and proactive Careers Administrator to support the delivery of our school’s careers programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Careers Lead.

  • A good educational background - with evidence of CPD
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Determination to complete tasks within a deadline
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people including teachers, parents, visitors and students
  • Ability to cope with conflicting demands, deadlines and interruption
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Computer literate
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
