Administrative Assistant job summary
This part‑time, fixed‑term role (one year contract) offers the potential to become permanent depending on school needs. The position is for 3 hours per day, with the working pattern agreed based on academy requirements and the successful candidate’s availability. It is a term‑time‑only post (38 weeks).
As an Admin Assistant, you will support the Senior Administrator by delivering high‑quality reception, clerical and administrative services across the academy. You will act as a first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors, while providing reliable administrative support including handling enquiries, maintaining records, supporting attendance processes and assisting with day‑to‑day operational tasks. This role is ideal for someone organised, approachable and committed to contributing to the smooth running of the academy office.
The interview date will be confirmed once the application period has closed. The start date will depend on the completion of safeguarding checks and the availability of the successful candidate.
