Administrative Assistant job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our busy Administration team.

Post hours 35 hours per week for 39 weeks per year.

As our main contact on the Reception Desk you will be the face of Sherford Vale School and Nursery taking calls, dealing with visitors face-to-face, updating ParentPay and providing high level administrative support as part of the wider Administration team.

The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic, hardworking, a multi-tasker and extremely well organised. We are looking for candidates who have professional and excellent communication skills (oral and written), a clear telephone manner, proven computer skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload whilst remaining calm under pressure.

Applicants must be able to develop positive behaviour strategies with children, have positive relationships with Parents/Carers.
