Administrative Assistant job summary

Contract Details: 13 hours over 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday ideally), 8.30am-3.30pm, 39 weeks a year


The Beeches Community Primary School is a friendly and happy school. We are part of a thriving multi-academy trust, ASSET Education.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to undertake various administrative duties in the main office over the course of 2 days per week, 8.30am-3.30pm.

The person that we are looking for needs to:

  • Relish the challenge of supporting children and families in a busy school office environment.

  • Work with dynamic, forward thinking staff with high aspirations for our children. Be an Administrative Assistant who exemplifies outstanding organisation, time management and flexibility.

  • Have good levels of English and Maths competence - GCSE C or equivalent

  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Google, Word, Excel, Arbor MIS (for example)

  • Be friendly and approachable; able to communicate well with a range of children and adults.

  • Be able to multitask and prioritise workload.

  • Enjoy working with others and within a team.

  • Share our vision and values to support our inclusive ethos.
