Administrative Officer with Responsibility for LINC job summary

Fortismere is a high-attaining, mixed foundation secondary school in the heart of Muswell Hill, North London with a strong tradition of excellence. The Co-headteachers are looking to appoint an Admin Officer responsible Linc (SEN) Administration for our busy office. The successful candidate will be resourceful, able to work independently and in a team, and able to maintain a calm, friendly and professional manner in our busy school environment. The Linc Department (Learning and Inclusion) supports vulnerable students, including those with SEN/D and EHCPs.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the operations team working closely with the Admin Lead and Senco. The post is 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday and for 40 weeks a year. Part time may be considered for the right candidate. You will be responsible for providing excellent Admin services, support, and compliance across the school.

The successful candidate will have:

A good level of ICT competency, excellent communications skills, and the ability to work flexibly

Relevant qualifications or similar knowledge of supporting vulnerable young children

Have understanding of SEN procedures and ability to assist a variety of stakeholders

The ability to maintain a calm and productive office team across the school

Have knowledge of Local Authorities SEN funding and structure
