Administrator job summary

We are excited to advertise a fantastic opportunity to join our wonderful Administration Team.

We are looking for a highly organised, efficient and positive individual with excellent communication skills to provide support across Student Services, Reception, Attendance and the Senior Leadership Team.

This is a varied role at the heart of the school’s daily operations. The successful candidate will be one of the first points of contact for students, parents and visitors, helping to ensure that every interaction with our school is warm, professional and well supported.

About the Role

As an Administrator, you will support a wide range of key school functions, including:

  • Supporting students and families with enquiries
  • Assisting visitors and maintaining a welcoming reception environment
  • Providing basic first-aid care to students
  • Supporting attendance administration, including follow-up and communication
  • Coordinating Year 10 Work Experience and careers-related activities
  • Managing administrative tasks linked to trips, events, and wider school activities
  • Maintaining accurate student information on school systems
  • Providing administrative support to SLT, SENCO and the Principal’s PA
  • Supporting CAIRs, personal development tracking, and parents’ evenings
  • Covering Reception, Student Services and Reprographics lunch breaks and when required

Hours & Salary
  • 28.75 hours per week
    (9.00am - 3.15pm, Monday to Friday)
  • Term time only - 39 weeks per year
  • NJC Grade 2 -3, points 3 - 6 (dependent on experience)
