After School Club Assistant job summary

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the supervision and care of pupils after school hours

Supporting a range of activities, from arts and crafts to sports and games

Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging participation.

Helping to ensure a safe and welcoming space for all children.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, proactive, and enjoy working with children. Previous experience in childcare or education is desirable, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

The working requirement is Monday to Friday, 3pm until 5pm.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
