After School Club Assistant job summary

We are seeking to recruit an After School Club Assistant to work at Sherard Primary school, to start as soon as possible, working 3.30pm - 5.00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 4hours 30minutes per week, term time only (38 weeks) on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Headteacher, the role of After School Club Assistant is to provide support in all aspects of running the club, working as part of the team to ensure that children are eating and playing in a safe, friendly environment.

Experience of working within a similar role with children and the ability to understand key policies e.g. Child Protection and Behaviour Management are essential. Along with good interpersonal skills, you will be able to work flexibly within the team, and will be respectful and caring towards the pupils.

The remuneration package includes a competitive salary, contributory public-sector pension scheme and a generous annual leave entitlement:

Annual Salary: £2,515.71 - £2,535.49 (FTE £24,804 - £24,999)
