After School Club Assistant job summary

Part time, 15 hours per week

Templenewsam Halton Primary is committed to giving young children the best possible start to their educational journey from nursery through to year 6. The role of the afterschool club assistant is to support this by planning and facilitating high quality afterschool provisions which further stimulate the development of the students.

We are looking for someone who;

  • Is confident to facilitate afterschool sessions to a range of different age groups simultaneously
  • Can communicate clearly with both children and parents/carers at differet ages
  • Has the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as both a team and an individual
  • Will be able to assist in the set up and close of sessions including administrative task
