After School Club Assistant job summary

Hours of Work: 7.5 hours

Working Pattern: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Term Weeks: 38 weeks

Your duties will include:

  • Registering pupils who are attending after school club
  • assisting with the appropriate care, control and supervision of pupils
  • Assist in the planning and organising of safe, creative, engaging and appropriate play activities
  • Maintain positive interactions with pupils and act as a role model
  • Liaise with parents

The successful Candidate will:

  • Have experience of working in a school environment
  • be able to work with a variety of age groups
  • be self-motivated, adaptable and reliable
  • be able to manage behaviour issues in a sensitive and effective way
