After School Club Assistant job summary
Hours of Work: 7.5 hours
Working Pattern: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Term Weeks: 38 weeks
Your duties will include:
- Registering pupils who are attending after school club
- assisting with the appropriate care, control and supervision of pupils
- Assist in the planning and organising of safe, creative, engaging and appropriate play activities
- Maintain positive interactions with pupils and act as a role model
- Liaise with parents
The successful Candidate will:
- Have experience of working in a school environment
- be able to work with a variety of age groups
- be self-motivated, adaptable and reliable
- be able to manage behaviour issues in a sensitive and effective way
