After School Club Leader job summary

Leafield C.E. is a small friendly school with dedicated staff. We are situated in a beautiful rural setting, and we are at an exciting time in our school’s development.

This position is term time only, 3pm to 5:45pm Monday to Friday.

We are looking for someone who can:
Plan and lead activities for children (age range 4 -11)
Prepare and serve snacks
Organise materials and equipment to allow the children freedom to choose
Encourage independence and boost children’s self esteem
Keep a record of attendance and ensure Safeguarding protocols are followed
Build positive relationships with the children and promote school values
Enforce positive behaviour management

Leafield C.E. Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. All post holders in regulated activity are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
