Marshfield has undergone rapid improvement over recent years to become one of the country’s highest performing primary schools, ranking 22nd out of nearly 21000 schools in the 2019 KS2 SATS. The school has just over 470 students and is situated in a vibrant community serving a diverse demographic of children close to the centre of Bradford. Marshfield utilises a bespoke curriculum designed to create an enquiry-based approach to learning, with inspiring and culturally relevant teaching sequences led by teachers who are passionate in providing an outstanding primary education.
As part of our continued commitment to enriching opportunities for our children and families, we are excited to launch a brand-new provision: the Marshfield Excellence Club - Wraparound Care. This high-quality after-school offer will provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children to enjoy extended learning, play, and enrichment activities beyond the school day.
We are looking for a confident and committed After School Club Manager to lead our wraparound care provision for children aged 3 to 11. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities in a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment, while ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all children. This role involves managing a small team, maintaining compliance with safeguarding and health and safety policies, liaising with parents and carers, and contributing to the overall quality and effectiveness of the after-school provision. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a commitment to promoting positive behaviour, equality, and the school’s values.
