Purley Oaks is a community school where our ‘staff share a moral purpose to give all pupils a rich education.’ - Ofsted 2019.

At Purley Oaks we believe our children can do anything if we give them the motivation and support. We are a three form entry primary school offering places from nursery through to year 6. Our school is increasingly popular and the established leadership team is committed to working towards excellence and achieving the best outcomes for all our pupils. We have high expectations of our children and offer a curriculum that is creative, balanced and fun; but more importantly based on the needs of our children. Our team of experienced staff are committed to ensuring that your child is fully prepared for every stage of their educational journey. Our goal is to equip them with skills that will enhance their future. There are no limits to what your child can achieve when they become part of the Purley Oaks community.

Our ethos is based on five themes: CARING, SHARING, LEARNING, LISTENING and OURSELVES. This ethos underpins everything we do. We provide our pupils with a rich social awareness and respect for others so that their contribution to the school community and society is both positive and one of tolerance. Our broad and balanced curriculum promotes spiritual, moral and cultural values, as well as mindfulness and the physical health of our pupils, which unites our Purley Oaks community as we strive for excellence. We ensure that all our pupils understand these principals as they begin to make their own meaningful contribution to our school and the wider community.
