What skills and experience we're looking for
The role will provide supervision and active play leading with children in small groups, or as part of the whole cohort, and will include food handling (snack time), crafts, games, activities and outdoor play.

Greystones Primary School is a local authority maintained school at the moment. We are currently in the process of academisation, with an order for joining Peak Edge Academy Trust in the near future. This role will continue on a permanent basis and will be subject to TUPE arrangements on converting.

Greystones Primary School is a three-form entry school situated in the south west leafy suburbs of Sheffield, approximately two miles from city centre, serving cosmopolitan and aspirational neighbourhood, with an on-roll number of 632 pupils in June 2024.
Our wonderful Edwardian buildings have undergone significant improvements in recent years, culminating in a major expansion project which was completed March 2016.
The school is supported by strong dedicated networks of parental involvement, led by a core Leadership Team comprising Headteacher (newly appointed in January 2024), Deputy Head, Assistant Head and Business Manager, with a wider extended leadership structure of Phase Leaders for FS2, KS1, Lower KS2, Upper KS2 and Inclusion/SEND.
The school has an integrated resource for hearing impaired and deaf children staffed directly Sheffield Hearing Service.
