Job Title: After School Club – Playworker (Perm)

Actual Annual Salary: £7,712 – £7,938 (Based on hours and weeks worked)

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £24,819 - £25,548 (CLF Grade Aii). Based on 37 hours per week 

Contract Type: Permanent, Term time only (no inset days)

Hours: 13.75 hours per week

Additional role information: This role will involve working Monday – Friday (2.75hrs - 3.00pm -5.45pm)  

An opportunity to support children by helping run a welcoming and fun Afterschool club of Wallscourt Farm Academy:

We are looking for a new After School Playworker to join our supportive and talented team at Wallscourt Farm Academy. This role helps to provide Wrap Around Provision for learners at Wallscourt Farm Academy. If you are caring, responsible, and enthusiastic about creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children at the end of their school day, we would love to hear from you. This role is ideal for someone who can use their initiative, build positive relationships, and support children's wellbeing through play.

About you:

You will have:

  •  an understanding of the varied needs of children and families.
  •  knowledge of basic food hygiene standards.
  •  the ability to maintain confidentiality over matters relating to the academy, with students, staff and parents. 
  •  the skills to provide and facilitate safe and stimulating play activities.
  •  capabilities of working within a team environment but also using own initiative.

Wallscourt Farm Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF). Wallscourt Farm Academy is a diverse learning community situated in Cheswick Village in South Gloucestershire. Wallscourt Farm Academy has created and fostered a multi-faith, socially diverse environment with an emphasis on common values and principles for life.
