Join Our Team! Afterschool Wraparound Care Assistant Needed

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Afterschool Wraparound Care Assistant to join our friendly team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to help create a fun, safe, and supportive environment after the school day.

Hours: Weekdays, approximately 3:15pm-6:00pm (term time only)

Start Date: January 2026

Location:John Ray Infant School

What you’ll do:

You’ll support the day-to-day running of our afterschool provision—welcoming children, supervising play, helping organise activities, and ensuring the wellbeing of all pupils in our care.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is warm, positive, and enjoys engaging with children
• Can work well as part of a team
• Is reliable and committed to safeguarding
• (Desirable) Has experience working with children or a relevant qualification

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
