What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone to launch and lead our on-site alternative provision in this large all through Academy.

The successful candidate will run our main 'HIVE' provision as part of the wider HIVE team (which includes our SENDCO, Vice Principal Behaviour, Assistant Principal Behaviour (Primary) and our Designated Safeguarding Lead) and report to our HIVE Manager. You will work alongside our HIVE Manager and mainstream teaching staff, preparing students to add value to our community, prepare for their next educational steps and develop their understanding of our core values; Respect, Aspiration and Resilience.

The role will involve working directly with individuals and small groups working in the HIVE, and with wider Academy staff and external agencies. the post holder will need to form positive relationships with parents/carers as well as with the students in the HIVE.
