Anthony Gell is part of a family of schools within Embark Federation - we are a successful inclusive 11-18 comprehensive school in the Derbyshire Dales (Wirksworth). The role includes administrative support for all staff in the school. The candidate needs to have an interest in media and photography to be effective in the delivery of school displays, social media, newsletters and video marketing. The postholder ensures that school publications adhere to the brand guidelines and monitors the school's social media presence. Administration tasks include maintaining systems and supporting any sales/income for trips or supplies, maintaining the inventory, updating the school website and intranet, supporting events and parents evening from planning to delivery.

This role include time away from working for specialist training (on site). You will study to gain professional knowledge and skills. Training schedule

The Apprenticeship Scheme is run in conjunction with a training provider to ensure that you are supported by a first-class training programme. You will attend a class or workshop once a week, either face-to-face or online, from one of our Adult Education Centres, located across the county, which will enable you to achieve the following apprenticeship:

  • Business Administrator level 3
  • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours to enable you to enter the gateway for the End Point Assessment
  • Functional Skills at Level 2 in English and/or maths, if required
