Apprentice - Early Years job summary

  • Hours of work: 35.69
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday 7.14 hours per day
  • Term weeks: 38 + 1 weeks school closure, minimum paid week 44.600
  • FTC term: 18 months for date of commencement (expected apprenticeship end)

As an Early Years Apprentice, you’ll learn:

  • How to create age-appropriate activities to aid children's development
  • Ways to support children's social, emotional and physical development
  • How to be aware of any special needs a child may have
  • How to carry out observations and discuss children's progress

You’ll also have regular feedback sessions to support you whilst completing your Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification and Cumbria Education Trust offers some excellent benefits.
