Christ the King College is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice ICT Technician to join our technical support team. This role offers an incredible pathway to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant educational setting while working toward your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification.
As a joint Church of England and Catholic secondary college, we provide a distinctive faith-based education centered on Christian values. Our community aims to support every student in becoming "the best they can possibly be," and our support staff play an essential role in keeping our learning and technical environments productive, safe, and inspiring.

Working under the guidance and support of our Senior IT Technician, you will resolve routine IT issues, contribute to new projects, and handle day-to-day technical duties while expanding your skill set.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an aspiring IT professional who has a genuine passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and develop their technical skills in line with the apprenticeship framework. The ideal candidate will be a committed team player, ready to complete their apprenticeship coursework diligently while providing flexible support to the wider College staff when needed. Because you will be interacting with students and staff daily, we are looking for someone who takes pride in their personal presentation, maintains excellent attendance and punctuality, and acts as a positive role model within our school community. You must possess the discretion required to handle a school environment with absolute confidentiality, a proactive attitude toward problem-solving, and a thorough commitment to health, safety, and safeguarding procedures. Above all, you should be enthusiastic about working in an educational community and fully prepared to work in harmony with the distinctive mission, ethos, and values of Christ the King College.
