About the role: 

Ramsey Academywould like to recruit an IT Apprentice to providefirstsecond and third linesupport to all users within the school. The role will be based out ofThe Ramsey Academy, butoccasionaltravelmaybe requiredto other schools within the academy and to the central office which is based in Chelmsford.  

The chosen candidate must complete a level 3/4 apprenticeship. Full-time employment may be available after the program, subject to the academy’s business needs.

We are looking for a candidate who has: 

  • Practical knowledge of operating andmaintainingPC hardware and software. 

  • Experience in using andmaintainingMicrosoft Office applications. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, persuasive and communication skills. 

  • Willingness to work with children of all ages. 

  • Willingness to learn and improve technical skills through recognised qualifications/in-house training.

  • A cheerful disposition.
