Vacancy Location: Royston Herts

Working Week Monday-Friday – 37 hours

Start and Finish time 08:00-16:00 Mon-Thurs – Fri 08:00-15:30

30-minute lunch break

Hourly wage - £9.99 p/h

King James are looking to appoint a hardworking and highly motivated Apprentice School Office Administrator. The office is incredibly busy and we are keen to employ an Assistant to help us and become a member of the office admin team.

Training will be provided to enable apprentices to undertake the following tasks:

  • General Admin support to staff and students
  • Reprographics
  • Call handling
  • Meet and greet visitors - reception service
  • Room bookings
  • Send out school comms as required
  • Lost property
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Keep reception area tidy
  • Emails - check admin email account
  • Assist with putting notes on Arbor for student relating to PE and Music lessons
  • First aid as required
  • Support Goods in
  • Deal with parents forgotten lunches, PE kits etc
  • Any other tasks as needed by members of school staff.
