The successful candidate will:

have a passion for ensuring the very best outcomes for our children

provide support to teachers in preparing for lessons

support SEN pupils with classroom activities, individually or in small groups

support class teachers with the wider class where needed

have high expectations of children’s achievement and a dedication to inspiring learners

strive to enable pupils to become more independent learners

assist with the supervision of pupils outside lesson times, eg lunchtime, breaks

act as a role model for pupils and be a positive influence

be enthusiastically committed to continuous improvement

be resilient, motivated and adaptable with a sense of humour

be able to communicate well, establishing good working relationships with staff and parents

be committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all children in their care

be committed to learn and work well with our team of experienced practitioners

have good levels of literacy and numeracy shown by Level 2 (or equivalent) Mathematics and English

recognise confidentiality, child protection procedures, Health & safety and the policies of the academy
