We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and friendly team, working across both our Primary and Secondary Phases.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning by working with individuals and groups as directed by the class teacher.
  • Monitor pupils’ progress, achievements, difficulties and developmental needs, reporting concerns to the appropriate teacher.
  • Assist teachers in planning and preparing learning activities.
  • Build positive, effective relationships with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the wider community, reflecting the ethos and values of our school.
  • Prepare and maintain resources, equipment and classroom displays.
  • Use a range of strategies and skills to help pupils make progress and feel safe, happy and supported.
  • Contribute fully to school life and be prepared to go the extra mile for the benefit of the whole school community.
