Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice at the Meadows Primary School you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. Purpose of the role of a Teaching Assistant Apprentice (see the JD for accountabilities):
You will be responsible for supporting pupils within the Trust. The successful candidate will bring our innovative curriculum to life, as you maintain good order and discipline, engage pupils of all abilities to reach their full potential.

We are looking for a motivated and inspirational apprentice teaching assistant who will:
Have a good standard of education (5 x GCSE’s – English and Maths C or above)
Have proven ability to self-study
Have proven ability to work with a range of people and children
Be confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated
Be able to supervise a group of pupils
Can plan effective play-based activities
Demonstrate a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community
Aligns with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally

Key Information:

Start date: 1st January 2026
Hours: 18 hours per week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 0830 – 1530, which includes some additional training training and off the job hours. Term Time only.
Contract Type: Fixed until the end of the apprenticeship – 1st July 2027. During this time, you will work closely with Orange Moon training who will support your training and development.
