Vacancy for Apprentice Technician

Salary: Meridian Trust Apprentice Salary £15,400-£23,492 FTE (dependent on age). Actual salary £12,486-£19,047

Hours: 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

The Apprenticeship: The Apprenticeship will last 42 months. You will study the Level 6 Engineering manufacturing technician standard and study for one day per week (20%) at Cambridge Regional College. Manufacturing Engineering BEng. (Hons) Eligibility for the apprenticeship includes a skills scan and assessment by the provider as well as

  • Evidence of grade B/5 in GCSE Maths, and grade C/4 GCSEs in at least four subjects including English
  • Evidence of 96 UCAS Tariff Points including at least two subjects at A Level or other Level 3 equivalent e.g. BTEC National Certificate/Diploma attracting at least 96 UCAS points or successful completion of the Foundation Year course at Level 3 offered by ARU Peterborough, including the relevant optional module(s) in Engineering
  • Advanced entry will be considered for students who have completed HNC/D in Engineering with average merit grade or higher.
