What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit an
Art, Design and Technology Technician who will support the ADT Department to
co-ordinate the use of the practical resources and facilities by providing
assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the ADT curriculum,
including liaising with teaching staff and support staff outside the
department.
The ideal candidate will:
- Ideally have a background in Art, Design and Technology and be self-motivated and flexible in their work;
- Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent;
- Ensure the well-organised storage of materials, equipment and artwork;
- Love encouraging, motivating and inspiring young children through the support they give in order to encourage their learning;
- Be committed to our ethos that all pupils can achieve at Whitcliffe Mount;
- Maintain efficient and tidy organisation of ADT classrooms and areas;
- Have great references demonstrating they are a suitable candidate, safe to work with children.

Whitcliffe Mount School
Whitcliffe Mount School is a large secondary school of 1,250 students in years 7 to 11. Our new purpose-built school was opened in 2017 and boasts state of the art, specialist facilities across the breadth of the curriculum. We are located just off Junction 25 of the M62 and in close proximity to, and within easy access of Huddersfield, Bradford and Leeds.
