Essex 2025 Scale 3, Point 5-6 ( £10,455.03 - £10,620.95 pa actual) Part time 18 hours per week, term time plus 1 INSET day


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and organised individual to join us as an Art Technician supporting teaching to Advanced Level.

VISION AND PURPOSE:

  • To help maximise student achievement and progress.
  • To assist with the wider provision of the school.
  • To promote positive behaviour from all students.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring stock levels of the varied resource materials required in the department are always maintained, ordering as necessary and checking invoices and deliveries.
  • Purchasing and allocating art packs, portfolios and sketchbooks to students.
  • Taking responsibility for the preparation, recycling and general care and organisation of clay and all associated tools and equipment.
  • Organising, preparing, collating and displaying art work in the school and for a range of events.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the department for lessons, activities, events, workshops etc.
  • Preparing and clearing away resources to assist teaching staff as required for lessons.
  • Support and assist in the general day to day work of the department.
