What skills and experience we're looking for

Wrotham Road Primary School are looking for a hardworking, flexible member of staff to join their Catering Team as an Assistant Cook.

The post will be for 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.15am - 1.45pm for 38 weeks per year. You will be paid £25,252 Full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary of £13,042.48 per year.

working with the Catering Manager to lead the kitchen team to provide an efficient food service to our pupils, you will play an essential part in ensuring our food service is the best that it can be.

You will need to be flexible and adaptable, and your duties will be varied, including basic food preparation, serving pupils and staff, and of course washing up and helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

As a very important member of our team, you will be expected to undertake training, which you will be paid for, and we will provide you with uniform.

Experience of working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential, and we welcome applicants seeking a better work life balance and greater flexibility.
