Assistant Director of Specialism - Maths job summary

Assistant Director of Specialism Maths

Leadership 8 - 12

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Maths professional to join our School Improvement Team. If you are comfortable with working in a fast paced, dynamic and inspirational environment and have the ability to lead and influence the lives of our next generation, we would love to hear from you.

The Assistant Director of Specialism role will form an integral part of the Trust’s School Improvement Team. Your primary focus will be to work with Heads of Departments and teachers throughout the Trust and assist in accelerating the pace of improvement. To do this, we need to increase the capacity for outstanding practitioners and this role is critical in helping us do just that. By improving the quality of education, we can realise the potential of all our students, irrespective of their ability or starting point.

We also understand that to achieve your aims, you need outstanding support and development that’s shaped to meet your needs and aspirations so you can, in turn, do the same for others. In terms of your personal development, we can offer opportunities to shadow leadership positions as well as mentoring from an Director plus the chance to work directly with wider senior leaders as we work together to achieve the best for all in our Trust.

We are looking to appoint an ambitious practitioner who is keen to advance their career in a leadership role. You will be stepping into an exhilarating period of transformative change, as the Trust is keen to expand the number of schools within the MAT. We are all working towards one vision and that is to establish a high performing family of schools.

To find out more about this exciting opportunity, or to arrange a discussion/visit, please email Ann Cane (Director of Specialism Maths) on A.cane@ncdat.org.uk
