Assistant Financial Accountant job summary
Join Astrea Academy Trust as an Assistant Financial Accountant!
The Assistant Financial Accountant is responsible for assisting a team to deliver the Financial Accounts function and supporting the Financial Controller in delivering the Trust Finance function within the Astrea Academy Trust family of academies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with external and internal audits
- Preparing monthly cashflow forecasts and financial reports
- Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register and completing VAT returns
- Managing credit card systems and payment runs
- Supporting financial due diligence for new academy acquisitions
