Assistant Head job summary

To support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in the strategic leadership, operational management, and inclusion development of the school.

This role holds specific responsibility for SEND, EAL, Pupil Premium, Designated Teacher duties for Looked After Children and Deputy Safeguarding Lead. The postholder ensures that all pupils, especially those with additional needs or vulnerabilities, receive high-quality, inclusive provision that removes barriers to learning and promotes wellbeing, progress, and safeguarding.

This is a permanent part-time post with a one day a week teaching responsibility in KS1.

Shortlisting will be based upon each applicant’s capacity to demonstrate how they meet each criteria.
