The First Federation Trust is seeking to appoint an Assistant Head of School with a passion for Early Years for Mary Dean’s CE Primary School & Nursery. The school is situated in the village of Tamerton Foliot and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Tamar estuary, as well as being close to the city of Plymouth.

The Assistant Head of School is a key member of the school’s leadership team, leads the Early Years unit, including our vibrant nursery, has a significant impact on teaching and learning and school improvement and benefits from collaboration between schools within the Trust.

We are seeking to appoint someone who wants to make a difference for children, hone and develop their leadership skills and work in a distributed leadership system. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high performing Multi Academy Trust.
