Cams Hill School is looking to complement our Pastoral Team with an enthusiastic, committed Assistant Head of Year 7. Working closely with the pastoral team you will be dedicated to ensuring that the pastoral needs of pupils are met. You will motivate pupils to raise their aspirations and bolster self-esteem so they can recognise their self-worth and potential. This role will involve you working with external agencies, managing pupils’ behaviour in line with the school’s good behaviour policy, holding meetings, monitoring trends and working closely with wider stakeholders. There will also be a significant focus on improving attendance. The successful candidate will need to be able to work as part of the pastoral and tutor teams and also be happy to work independently.

Leading annually on transition administration you will be front facing and integral in fostering positive relationships with parent/carers and incoming pupils.
