We are seeking a talented and inspirational Assistant Head Teacher to lead the Science Department, who is dedicated to shaping a curriculum to further our students’ lifelong journey of curiosity, and to mentor our enthusiastic and high performing team of teachers. You will play a significant role in shaping the department to ensure we combine theoretical and practical learning, so that our students understand the significance of the subject at every stage of their lives.

As Assistant Head Teacher, you will be welcomed into an experienced team of professionals to:
- Progress the Science department to even greater successes
- Oversee and shape the curriculum’s delivery
- Lead and mentor your team, enhancing their teaching practice with innovative methods and ensuring they have a clear vision
- Manage the allocation of resources and budgets
- Collaborate with other heads of departments over learning to achieve a consistent and integrated methodology
- Be committed to the wider school community and development of students
- Promote the understanding and belief that every student can be successful
