At Gloucester Academy, part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust, we are seeking a passionate, ambitious and proactive Assistant Headteacher – Culture & Ethos to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, character and personal development of our students within a supportive, forward-thinking and rapidly improving school.
About the role:
The Assistant Headteacher – Culture & Ethos will work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to drive exceptional standards of behaviour, personal development and inclusion across the school. The successful candidate will strategically lead on culture and ethos, helping to create a calm, purposeful and ambitious environment where every student can thrive.
This role will oversee key areas including behaviour culture, character development, PSHE, rewards and recognition, and student personal development. The successful candidate will be a highly visible leader who can inspire students and staff alike whilst maintaining exceptionally high standards and expectations.
