ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER – Behaviour and Attitudes

Bilton School is an ethnically mixed 11-18 comprehensive with approximately 1100 students on role. We are part of the Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust allowing both opportunities and support for the staff and students at Bilton through our Warwickshire and Northamptonshire based family of schools. Our aim at Bilton is to put students at the heart of everything we do. We want them to develop the confidence, skills and qualifications to ensure that they are happy and successful 21st century citizens.

We are seeking to appoint a versatile and highly effective individual teacher to join our SLT as an Assistant Headteacher to add to our Behaviour and Attitudes team. Like us, you will be organised, dynamic and hardworking as well as having an excellent track record within the classroom. You will have a desire to positively impact students’ life chances through a holistic and strategic rationale.

We are really interested in the ethos, skill-set and adaptability that the successful candidate displays to complement our existing team.

The successful candidate will: -

● Be versatile and adaptable, with an ability to solve problems.

● Have a proven track record of success across their career to date. We would be particularly interested to receive applications from candidates who can teach Science.

● Be passionate and enthusiastic about holistic education and nurturing the 21st century learner. 

● Have good interpersonal skills. 

● Have excellent communication skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels. 

● Be a positive team player with a strong commitment to professional development.
