We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced, committed and driven individual with the skills to lead our extensive Safeguarding team in our growing, vibrant and dynamic Academy. You will care deeply about the welfare of our students and have a passion for helping them to grow and develop to become respectful, responsible, kind and successful young people.
You may be operating as a successful middle leader or equivalent and looking for the next step in your career or be an existing senior leader who wants the chance to utilise their experience in the setting of a brand-new school, helping us keep our values at the forefront of everything we do. You will receive mentoring, coaching and support to develop yourself as a leader and grow your skills and experience as the Academy increases in size and opens its Sixth Form in September 2025.
Watling Academy is a purpose-built 11-18 secondary school in its fourth year of operation, located within the Whitehouse development on the western expansion area of Milton Keynes. The Academy will have 1800 students when at full capacity. Watling Academy is part of the Denbigh Alliance MAT.
