What skills and experience we're looking for
Caythorpe Primary School are looking for an inspirational and dedicated Assistant Headteacher due to the promotion of the current potholder.

This role would allow the right candidate to build on their existing knowledge and skills whilst being able to succeed in a progressive and caring school.
The school is part of CIT (Community Inclusive Trust), a Multi Academy Trust comprising of special and mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
Purpose of the Role
The role will require the post-holder to work in partnership with the Head Teacher to support the effective day to day running and in the strategic leadership and management of the school. The Assistant Headteacher will ensure the school provides the most effective environment to provide outstanding care and teaching and learning for our pupils. This role will oversee the strategic development of whole school areas.
The successful candidate will be a passionate teacher who:
- Is efficient, well organised and has the passion and ability to motivate and inspire staff and students.
- Has high expectations of learning and behaviour both of themselves and the children in their care, with a kind and positive attitude.
- Is an excellent team player with experience as a senior or an aspiring middle leader in a primary school.
- Has excellent communication skills and is approachable for all children, staff and parents.
- Has the ability to promote the school’s aims and values.
- The willingness to lead curriculum subjects throughout the school.
- Has strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of improving student outcomes.
