This opportunity to join our ambitious and successful leadership team has arisen due to the restructure of the SLT following promotion within and outside of the Co-op Academies Trust. This provides us with a great and exciting opportunity to secure a passionate and dedicated Assistant Headteacher to join our current Senior Leadership Team and continue to influence colleagues and pupils at Co-op Academy Delius.
In the role of Assistant Headteacher you will support the Head of School and wider Senior Leadership Team to help achieve the highest quality education and ensure the highest possible standard of pupil achievement and school efficiency.
We welcome applications from established senior leaders exploring new challenges and looking to progress their career. You will be a qualified teacher, educated to degree level and whilst not essential relevant leadership qualifications and postgraduate SEN qualification would be desirable. Your knowledge of Education Acts and SEN Code of Practice will be strong and you’ll have a passion for primary SEND and a desire to ensure that all pupils receive the best possible education.
As a dynamic and inspirational leader you will have a wealth of successful teaching experience in the primary phase, including within specialist SEN settings and be experienced in PMLD, ASC / SLD approaches.
Following a recent positive Ofted inspection in September 2023, in which we were rated "Good" it is an exciting time to join our school as we continue on our journey to become an outstanding school where children and young people can thrive and achieve their full potential.
