Assistant Headteacher job summary

As Assistant Headteacher you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, working with the Headteacher and Regional Director to take a leading role in improving the quality of teaching and the learning experience for children. This role is positioned to ensure high quality education for all pupils and drive to improve standards of learning and achievement, particularly at Key Stage 2. As Assistant Headteacher you will ensure that all teaching demonstrates best practice, develops relationships, supports training and development and helps all children make excellent progress across the academy.

A successful candidate would have excellent opportunities to progress further with Co-op Academies Trust into senior leadership roles in the future, in schools across the North of England.
