Assistant Headteacher
Payscale: L1 - L4
Commencing: April 2026 or September 2026
Pathfinder CoE Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed Assistant Headteacher to join a vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals.
About Role
We are looking for an experienced leader who will act as an excellent role model; exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectations for all members of the school community. For further information about the role, please download the job description attached.
About you:
- Be a reflective practitioner with strong leadership skills
- Have experience of leading an aspect of the curriculum
- Have experience of developing and implementing teaching and learning initiatives
- Have experience of teaching within Key Stage 2
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
- Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
- Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and able to work flexibly and professionally
- Share our vision and values and be ready to contribute to school life beyond the classroom
