Overview of the role:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to be responsible for:

Carrying out the duties of this post in line with the remit outlined in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document including the conditions of the Academy’s own policy

Assisting the Headteacher and Deputy Headteachers in the organisation, management and development of the school

Carrying out teaching duties as required (0.2 teaching responsibility)

T To assume responsibilities of the Headteacher / Deputy Headteachers in their absence

For promoting and safeguarding the welfare of looked after children as the Designated Teacher for LAC.

Delivering training and support within your school and to other schools across the Trust

Promoting best practice and contribute to the aims and ethos of the school

Leading school improvement in an agreed area

Oversee the planning, progress and attainment of pupils within your phase across the school within the subject you will lead

Leading by example as an outstanding classroom practitioner

The postholder will be part of our teaching and learning function of the school and play a large part in delivering a high-quality education to the learners that attend our schools.
