Stopsley High School is looking to recruit a highly motivated, resilient, and focused Senior Leader who will form an integral part of Stopsley High School’s Senior Leadership Team.
We welcome applications from current Senior Leaders as well as Middle Leaders who have a proven track record and are ready for the next stage in the career progression for Senior Leadership.
The Senior Leader will play a key role in the development of the School's Improvement Strategy and help design, develop and implement systems, policies and procedures to ensure that School Improvement activities are highly effective. This is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably qualified current Senior Leader or Middle Leader who wants to make a real difference to the pupils at Stopsley High School.
The successful candidate will be able to engage, inspire and challenge pupils and staff. The candidate will be values driven and have a clear moral compass and belief that pupils must receive an outstanding education, which is reflected in outstanding pupil outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Formulating the aims and objectives of the school.
Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives.
Managing staff and resources to that end.
Monitoring progress towards the achievement of the school’s aims and objectives.
Supporting and reinforcing high and consistent standards of work and behaviour from students within the school community.
Maintaining the most effective standards of teaching, learning and assessment through exceptional support for colleagues.
As part of the teaching staff, deliver highly effective lessons across the age range.
Stopsley High School has been on a rapid improvement journey which included academising in September 2021 and joining the Middlesex Learning Trust. The School has benefitted from collaborative networking across the three schools, opportunities to showcase good practice and access to innovative training opportunities. All of this hard work culminated in an incredibly positive Ofsted in September 2022, in which the school was graded as “Good” in all areas.
