Are you ready to move to a new and exciting stage in your career?

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to the post of Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and Designated Safeguarding Lead. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning and have proven leadership and management skills.

This is a genuine opportunity to be part of this exciting phase in the life of our school and play a key role in the school’s ‘journey to excellence’. Aylward Primary is a friendly, supportive and growing school, situated on the edge of London and a 5 minute walk from Stanmore Tube station.

The successful candidate will lead all aspects of Inclusion and Safeguarding and play a key role in the school’s senior leadership team.

  • a proven ability to engage with vulnerable pupils and champion their needs;
  • a secure knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory safeguarding documents;
  • a proven track record of raising attainment for all pupils;

  • inspired leadership and strong motivation;
  • an ability to work as a proactive team player.
