Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion) job summary

de Stafford School is seeking to appoint a new Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion on a permanent basis to play a pivotal role in driving forward our continued school improvement journey.

As Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion, you will:

  • Lead a school-wide commitment to high aspiration, early help and high-quality teaching for all.
  • Champion the reforms so that all children, especially those with SEND or who are disadvantaged, experience
  • earlier support, clearer pathways and stronger outcomes.
  • Turn “Every Child Achieving and Thriving” from a vision into a lived reality for students, staff, and families.
  • Build the confidence, capability, and collective efficacy of colleagues so all learners experience belonging, challenge, and success. 

What we're looking for:

  • QTS
  • Senco Qualification 
  • Good honours degree
  • Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development 
  • Level 7 Access Arrangements Assessor qualification / experience in preparing access arrangements evidence and forms

About de Stafford School

de Stafford is an 11-16 comprehensive school
located in Caterham, Surrey which joined GLF Schools MAT in December 2016. The
school has a PAN of 180 students per year group. The school serves
predominantly the local Caterham community with the majority of students
residing within the CR3 catchment area.
