Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion job summary
We are looking for a leader on their next step of their career journey, who can take a strategic lead on Inclusion and who can manage a range of whole-school responsibilities. The post would suit a middle leader aspiring to the next stage of their leadership journey, or an experienced Assistant Headteacher looking for a new experience to lead on SEND, a Speech and Language ARP and our in-house Alternative Provisions. You must be committed to enabling our students to become the best possible versions of themselves. We are values driven, believing in: Work Hard, Be Kind and Have Passion.
Job Purpose: Inclusion of SEND, ARP and Alternative Provision
Main duties and responsibilities
Support the Headteacher in creating and developing an organisation in which all staff recognise that they are accountable for the success of the school
Support the Headteacher in the production, implementation, monitoring and review of policies adopted by the School Governing Body
Support the Headteacher in the production, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a school improvement plan which identifies priorities and targets for ensuring that student’s additional needs are met.
