What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to increase leadership capacity across the trust as a whole and expect all of our Senior Leaders to contribute towards our shared trust development priorities as expert leaders. This is a very exciting time to be joining the Senior Leadership Team at John Ferneley College. The school is on a journey of significant improvement with investment in leadership at trust and school level affording the opportunity to play a key part in making it exceptional.

The successful applicant will lead on a key area of development, i.e. SEND, Pastoral, Teaching and Learning, Personal Development, Outcomes etc. They will contribute significantly to the Quality Assurance and Continual Professional Development across the school. Our ideal candidate will be committed to evidence-based practice and continued research-informed development. They will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team in the school and with the trust central and executive school improvement leaders to ensure that MET students experience the very best a school can offer, as we strive towards becoming an Outstanding school.
