Assistant Headteacher (KS1 and English Lead) job summary

The successful candidate will:

Lead English across the school, driving high standards in reading, writing and spoken language.

Take responsibility for teaching, learning and standards across Early Years and Key Stage 1, ensuring consistency, excellence and ambition in provision and outcomes.

Play a pivotal role in enhancing the implementation of our Teaching and Learning Toolkit, which is central to our approach to pedagogy and professional development.

Support staff to become high-quality practitioners, through coaching, modelling and collaborative development.

Be a motivated and inspirational leader, who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to continuous improvement.
